World Visual & Performance Art
This course concentrates on ways in which human beings express emotions and ideas through the visual and performing arts. Using practices of close observation and critical analysis of selected works, students examine forms and aesthetic movements from a variety of cultural traditions. Students will cultivate a broad knowledge base and skill set that can be applied to developing and communicating programs in diverse arts organizations.
