Data Security
This course introduces students to the principles of data security, with a focus on the confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) triad. Students also examine core concepts such as authentication, authorization, and accounting/auditing (the AAA framework), and evaluate their role in safeguarding database systems. Emphasis is placed on both theoretical frameworks and practical applications, enabling students to design and implement strategies that protect data assets in complex organizational environments.
