Leadership Development

This course explores leadership in context, highlighting the relational practices of leaders and their influence on organizations at all levels. Students will apply leadership concepts and theoretical lenses to a variety of organizational scenarios. They will explore contemporary perspectives on ethical decision-making and fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in an organization. Strategies for influencing culture, promoting learning, and implementing organizational change to drive organizations forward will be examined. Students will assess their own leadership competencies and areas for growth to construct a personal leadership development plan, recognizing that leadership opportunities exist at every level within an organization.
