FAQ
If you were a BACP student and left within the last five years, you do not need to reapply. You will need to complete a short readmission form, and our team will review your situation to confirm eligibility. Students who have been away for more than five years are required to submit a full application.
Most former BACP students who left in good standing are eligible to return without reapplying. A small number of situations — such as a prior academic hold or a program that is no longer active — may require additional review. The readmission form helps us identify your specific situation and connect you with the right next step.
Your previous credits are on file. If you did not take any courses elsewhere while you were away, your degree plan can likely be picked up right where you left off. If you took courses at another institution, those transcripts will need to be reviewed to see what transfers. Either way, an advisor can give you a quick preliminary review — just reach out to Lindsey Ford at Lindsey.Ford@du.edu.
Lindsey will prioritize reviews for returning students so you can make your decision before the fall admission deadline. Just provide your name and email and she will get back to you as quickly as possible. Note that reviews are completed manually, not automatically.
Yes. If you are interested in completing your degree through the ABPS program, you will need to submit both a readmission form and a change-of-program form. We are working on combining these into a single form to make the process easier. An advisor can walk you through your options.
The fall admission deadline is at the end of July. We encourage you to reach out as soon as possible so there is enough time to complete the readmission process before that date.
Reach out to Lindsey Ford, Associate Director of Enrollment Experience, at Lindsey.Ford@du.edu or 303-871-2492. You can also schedule an appointment directly through her scheduling link.
