Dani Chesson helps organizations break through their most challenging transformation barriers using design thinking grounded in behavioral and organizational science.

Professional Background

Dani has guided organizations through regulatory crises, accelerated stalled digital transformations, and turned a failing business into a $34M success story. Her work has impacted 20M+ customers across enterprise transformations ranging from $15M-$30M at Bank of America, HSBC, and major organizations around the globe. She has led transformations for teams of up to 15,000 employees worldwide.

Dani holds a Ph.D. in Behavioral and Organizational Science & Design Thinking from Antioch University, and M.S. in Organization Development & Executive Coaching from Queens University of Charlotte, an MBA from Queens University of Charlotte, and a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication & Design from State University of New York.

Motivation for Teaching

Dani aims to help students develop the 21st-century capabilities organizations desperately need to compete and be effective in the marketplace. As an instructor, she helps students apply evidence-based practices to drive innovation and lead organizational change.

Helping Students Be Successful

As an educator, student success isn’t just about acquiring knowledge. Success is when students have the confidence to apply what they have learned in the classroom in the boardroom. Dani helps students build this confidence by sharing insights from my work with global organizations and encouraging students to bring their work into the classroom so they can see how concepts in class apply to their unique context.
